2003-2005 - Building 28' IVY to L.F Herreshoff's design #76

28 foot IVY was constructed to the plans of L.F Herreshoff's 'Solitair' design #76. L. Francis Herreshoff was one of the most famous yacht designers of the 20th century, though he was not so famous for his spelling. IVY was built with Alaskan Cedar topside planking and spotted gum bottom planking, backbone and frames. Her transom is recycled Burmese teak from the decks of the Manly ferry DEE WHY
